This website will be closed in October as the whole beehive network is closing. If you think we really do need a website please contact the webmaster with your feelings on how we should continue. No response will mean no website!
Meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of September to May, although there are exceptions to this rule! Check the Programme pages before you set out!
Note that most meetings are now at the Ashcroft Centre, Ashcroft Road, Cirencester

If you live in or near Cirencester and are interested in Archaeology or History, we are the Society for you. The society has been in existence for over fifty years. In the early days it sponsored "digs" in the Cotswold area. As Archaeology is now well catered for in the planning system, we restrict ourselves nowadays to talks, visits, publications, such as the "Miscellany" series, and various projects.
Meetings are held from September to May, usually on the fourth Wednesday of each month. For the season 2007-8 they will mostly be held in Cirencester's Ashcroft Centre, but we also visit the RAC and the Bingham Hall. We have also arranged several Saturday afternoon outings. See the relevant Programme page for details.
