Gloucestershire Wildlife Rescue Centre
This site was designed to be helpful and informative, to promote awareness of the natural world around us and to help wildlife casualties.

After the closure of the rescue centre and 14 years of taking in wildlife casualites we hope our experience is helpful.
GLOS. WILDLIFE RESCUE HELP
Gloucestershire Wildlife Rescue Centre logo
Gloucestershire Wildlife Rescue Centre was a registered charity dealing with all species of British wildlife.

We took sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds, (over 30,000 in 14 years) and provided the shelter, care and rehabilitation necessary to return them to their natural environment - the wild.

Our aims now:

* TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE ON THE RESCUE AND CARE OF BRITISH WILDLIFE

We are lucky enough to enjoy beautiful countryside and the wildlife that lives within it, but all to often we come across an animal or bird that we think needs our help, or the cat brings us a present. What do we do? Do we interfere, do we let 'nature take its course'?

It is not always easy to decide which is best so these pages are designed to help you.

Please email if you have a question. Emails are monitored regularly, but in the case of an emergency contact your local veterinary surgery.

Please be patient, this site is work in progress!
